DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Data check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Non immobilizer system equipped VCU
  • Faulty VCU
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON" (IG1 "ON")
  • Auxiliary battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Not EV ready state
Threshold Value
  • In case IMMO. authentication is not performed within 1.5s due to abnormal SMK data (header value error, checksum value error, smart key status unknown error)
  • When IMMO. is not authenticated within 1.5s due to more than SMK response (SMK response time exceeds 40ms after VCU request)
  • If at least one of the above conditions is satisfied
