- Engine speed greater than 4800 RPM at vehicle stop
- Engine coolant temperature at startup is more than -9.8 to 54.8°C (14.3 to 130.6°F)
- Intake temperature is more than -9.8°C (14.3°F) at the start
- Ambient temperature is more than -9.8°C (14.3°F)

| Threshold Value |
- When the measured coolant temperature is below 69 to 79°C (156.2 to 174.2°F) while the coolant model temperature is greater than 80 to 90°C (176 to 194°F)
