Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the front impact sensor (A) by loosening the nut after disconnecting the connector (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.7 - 0.8 kgf.m, 5.1 - 5.8 lbf.ft)
