Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Disconnect the CKPS connector (A).

Remove the connector (A) from the bracket (B).

Remove the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) heat protector (A) after removing the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the CKPS (A) by removing the bolt after removing the wiring fixing clip.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
