Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the negative battery terminal, wait at least 30 seconds.
  2. Loosen the mounting clips, remove the air duct (A).

  3. Remove the front impact sensor (A) by loosening the nut after disconnecting the connector (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.7 - 0.8 kgf.m, 5.1 - 5.7 lb.ft, 60.8 - 69.4 lb.in)
