The main features of CAN (Controller Area Network) bus system are:

• A data-transfer rate up to 1 Mbit/s for the high-Speed CAN and up to 125kbit/s for the low-speed CAN.
• Signals are broadcast in both directions.
• The multi-master principle.
• High availability by locating failed control units.
• Standardization in accordance with ISO 11898.

Vehicle electronic control need many informations of each module to reduce exhaust and increase convenience/safety by optimum control. The TCM can either receive data from the ECM/PCM or ABS control module, or it can send data to the ECM/PCM and ABS, ECM/PCM by using CAN communication. The CAN communication is one of the vehicle communications method, which is now widely used to transfer the vehicle.
