Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	Engine Oil Temperature Sensor connector	2 (Power)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
	Engine Oil Temperature Sensor connector	4 (Signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	Engine Oil Temperature Sensor connector	4 (Signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (Infinite)Ω
	Engine Oil Temperature Sensor connector	3 (Ground)	Chassis ground	-	below 1Ω

Good

Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
