DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Ignition efficiency monitoring during catalyst heating
  • Poor connector connection
  • Deposit intake or exhaust system
  • Vacuum leaks
  • Faulty throttle body
Enable Conditions
  • Catalyst heating activation for more than 4s
  • Barometric pressure is higher than 74.5kPa
  • Vehicle speed is 0Km/h (0mph)
  • Engine load is higher than 55%
Threshold Value
  • Average value of deviation between actual ignition efficiency and target ignition efficiency is higher than 40% for 10s
Diagnostic Time
  • 10s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
