DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the hardware
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • EGR actuator motor circuit is short to battery
  • Faulty EGR actuator
Enable Condition
  • Auxiliary battery is greater than 10V
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • EGR actuator is output current at low side output is greater than 15A (ECU power stage diagnosis)
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
