Inspection Procedure
- Visual Inspection
- Correct engine coolant type and level.
- Thermostat Inspection
- After soaking the thermostat in water and heat the water slowly.
- Check the temperature which the thermostat is opened.
Specification: Normal opening temperature - 90±1.5°C(194±34.7°F)
- Check the expansion of valve
Specification: 8mm (100°C/212°F)
Good
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
No Good
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
