DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical inspection
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short to battery in signal circuit
  • Faulty OPTS
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than -30°C (-22°F) or more over 300s after starting
  • Battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Engine oil temperature sensor output voltage is greater than 4.93V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
