DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check (high)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Signal circuit open or short
  • Open to ground in signal circuit
  • IATS
  • ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
  • Ambient air temperature is higher than -30°C (-22°F)
Threshold Value
  • IATS voltage is greater than 4.85V (-40°C (-40°F))
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
