The electronic Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) control valve is a solenoid-type valve that is mounted between the EGR cooler and the exhaust line, and controlled by a duty signal from the ECM calculated by the intake air demand and engine load etc. Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is a system for reusing exhaust gas as intake air to reduce the high temperature of the combustion chamber.
