Repair Procedures: Inspection
- Check the continuity between the terminal and the body with an ohmmeter.
If there is no continuity, replace the oil pressure sensor.
- Press the inside of the oil hole with a fine bar and check the circulation between the terminal and the body. Replace the sensor it is energized while pressed.
- If a positive pressure of 49.0kpa (0.5kg/cm2 , 7.1psi) through the oil hole is not energized, the switch is in normal operation. Check for leaks in the air and if there is any leakage, replace the sensor as the diaphragm is broken.
