Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the audio head unit.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "AUDIO/AVN HEAD UNIT ")

  4. Remove the glove box.

    (Refer to Body - "GLOVE BOX ")

  5. Disconnect the manual controller cable (A)

  6. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the A/C & heater controller unit (A).

  7. Remove the heater & air conditioner control unit after disconnecting the connectors (A).

  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
