Variant Coding (In Case That The GDS Is Connected To The Internet)

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn "ON" the Ignition Switch.
  3. Perform variant coding in Vehicle S/W Management menu of the GDS. (Image 1 below).
  4. Fill in blanks with VIN number of the vehicle correctly. (Image 2 below)
  5. Check whether current variant code corresponds to the options which are applied to the vehicle. (Image 3 below)
  6. Turn "OFF" the Ignition Switch and wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn "ON" the ignition. Go to "VARIANT CODE RESET " Procedure.
NOTE: When HAC is activated, conduct "Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration" with GDS. (refer to C1285-04 )
