DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Lean to Rich Response Rate check
  • Poor Connector Connection
  • Open or short in O2 sensor circuit
  • Faulty Downstream O2 Sensor
Enable Condition
  • Downstream O2 sensor tip temperature is 932°F (500°C) or heating duration is over 75s
  • Downstream O2 sensor internal resistance is below 3000Ω
  • Modeled catalyst temperature is over 752°F (400°C)
  • Battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
  • Mass air flow is between 2.78 and 69.4g/s
  • Mass air flow integral after leaving fuel cut is over 100g
  • Modeled exhaust gas temperature is over 752°F (400°C)
Threshold Value
  • Average of signal gradient is less than 1500mV/s (Response time 0.2s)
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 valid fuel cut off phases
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
