Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Internal monitoring
  1. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • When the MCU can't clear or write the EEPROM data.
  • When abnormal operation of RAM, ROM, interrupt, timer, A/D converter, cycle time is detected in a master processor or in slave processor.
  • When the communication error between internal components is detected.
  • When the internal components initialization is not completed.
MIL
  • The EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps and buzzer are activated.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and back on.
