Component Inspection

  1. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
  4. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
  5. Disconnect ECU's connector connected to CAN bus.
  6. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  7. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  8. Are any DTCs present?

    YES 

    • Go to step  1 of the component inspection and disconnect another ECU's connector connected to CAN bus in step  5.
    • Repeat above step until test completed on all ECU in CAN bus.
    • If DTC returns even after the tests, replace it with a new SCC/AEB ECU and see if it properly operates. If the problem is cleared, put the new SCC/AEB ECU in place and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
