DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor open circuit (Switch circuit is short to battery).
  1. Short to power in ESP OFF switch circuit
  2. Defected ESP OFF switch
Threshold value
  • When the ESP (TCS/ESC) switch is ON for 1 minute.
MIL
  • No MIL on (DTC only)
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and back on. And "ESP OFF Switch" is off during 3 seconds.
