ESP (ESC) OFF Switch Inspection

  1. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnect ESP (ESC) OFF switch connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between the terminals of ESP (ESC) OFF switch (component side).

    Specification  :Infinity

  4. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent, caused by poor connection in ESP OFF switch circuit and/or ESP (ESC)'s connector. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after it was repaired. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
