DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor power voltage to each sensor
  1. Open or short of Wheel speed sensor circuit (FL)
  2. Faulty Wheel speed sensor (FL)
Threshold value
  • A failure is detected when the sensor power is on and the sensor current levels are out of 4 mA ±10% ~ 60 mA ±10% range for over 140msec.
  • A failure is detected when the leakage current of wheel speed sensor is above specific current longer than 140msec.
MIL
  • The EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are activated.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and back on.
Remarks
  • In case of more than 2 wheel failures, EBD Lamp is On. (EBD control is not available)
