DTC B1214-00: Rear Left Sensor Fault: General Description

Rear Left Sensor* detects obstacles in the rear left side and sends first phase, second phase, third phase warning signals that differ by distance of obstacles to BCM* via LIN communication.
BCM* monitors signals from the sensor and determines warning phase and activates buzzer or sends data to cluster to display to warn driver. Warning methods are different by vehicle options.
