Ignition "ON".	Ignition "OFF". Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC). Ignition "ON". Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS/GDS. Clear any DTCs stored in the system with KDS/GDS. Re-check DTC in the system with KDS/GDS. Did the same DTC is stored in the system?	-

If the shift cable is poor alignment, it can cause a malfunction. Therefore check the alignment of the shift cable before replacing the inhibitor switch.
