ECM/PCM monitors temperature difference between MAX and MIN IATS values to detect change in the IATS Not only at "Start Test" but "Drive Test" while enable conditions are met If ECM/PCM detects intake air temperature changes less than threshold valve It determines that a fault exists and a DTC is stored
