Hybrid Power Control Unit (HPCU)

Shut off the High Voltage circuit.
(Refer to Hybrid Control System - "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUTOFF PROCEDURE ")
Remove the air cleaner and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Disconnect the LDC power output cable (A) & EPDM rubber mounting part (B) after loosening the mounting bolts.
Disconnect the LDC ground (-) cable (C) after loosening the mounting bolts.
LDC power output cable mounting bolt:

10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.1 lb.ft)

LDC ground (-) cable mounting bolt:

10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.1 lb.ft)

Remove the Reservoir.
(Refer to Hybrid Motor System - "RESERVOIR ")
Remove the HPCU pretector (A) after loosening the mounting bolts and nuts.
HPCU pretector mounting bolt/nut:

10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.1 lb.ft)

Disconnect the power cable (A) [↔ High voltage battery system assembly] and power cable (B) [↔ HSG & Electric A/C compressor].

Information

Remove the inverter power cable in the following order.

Disconnect the motor power cable connector (A) and HSG power cable connector (B).

Remove the power cable mounting bracket (A).

Remove the Hybrid Power Control Unit (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
Hybrid Power Control Unit (HPCU) mounting bolt:

19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb.ft)
