PURGE CONTROL VALVE

Inspection Condition	Inspection Procedure	Reference
Ignition "ON" and Engine "OFF".	Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC). Perform "Actuation Test" of concerned component with KDS.	Fig 1

Good

Go to "Canister Close Valve Inspection" procedure.

No Good

If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the PCSV and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

CANISTER CLOSE VALVE

Inspection Condition	Inspection Procedure	Reference
Ignition "ON" and Engine "OFF".	Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC). Perform "Actuation Test" of concerned component with KDS.	The valve operation sound should be heard when actuation test

Good

Go to "VISUAL INSPECTION " procedure.

No Good

If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the CCV and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
