Engine Compression Pressure Inspection

1. Measure compression pressure of the each cylinder.

   Specification:

   10.0 kgf/cm² (300 ~ 350 rpm)

   Limit: 8.5 kgf/cm² (300 ~ 350 rpm)

   Differential pressure among cylinders: Below 1.0kg/cm²

Good 

• Check for excessive engine coolant consumption. If the coolant consumption is large, check the coolant line, engine block, cylinder head, or head gasket. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good 

• Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
