Repair Procedures: Inspection

Measuring Resistance 

1. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control switch.
2. Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).

   Switch	Terminal	Resistance (±3%)
   Cancel	2 - 6	390Ω
   SET -	2 - 6	610Ω
   RES +	2 - 6	910Ω
   Cruise ON/OFF	2 - 6	1.38 kΩ
   Following distance control (SCC)	2 - 6	3.63 kΩ

3. If not within specification, replace switch.
