Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning to work.
  2. Remove the main crash pad.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "MAIN CRASH PAD ASSEMBLY ")

    NOTE: If the PAB has been deployed, replace the damaged crash pad.
  3. Remove the PAB mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    3.8 - 5.8 N.m (0.39 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.8 - 4.3 lb-ft)
