Occupant Classification System (OCS) Unit

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
  2. Remove the front passenger seat assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Disconnect the occupant classification system unit connector (A).

  4. Remove the occupant classification system unit (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

    Tightening torque: 

    1.5 - 2.5 N.m (0.1 - 0.2 kgf.m, 1.1 - 1.8 lb.ft)
