Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning to work.
  2. Remove the glove box assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "GLOVE BOX HOUSING ")

  3. Remove the PAB mounting bolts (A).

    Tightning torque: 

    3.9 - 4.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.8 - 3.6 lb.ft)

CAUTION: The removed airbag module should be stored in a clean, dry place with the airbag cushion up.
