Repair Procedures: Removal
WARNING:
- Be sure to read and follow the "GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION " before doing any work related with the high voltage system. Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious electrical injuries.
- Be sure to shut off the high voltage before doing any work related with the high voltage system (Refer to "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE "). Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious electrical injuries.
- Shut off the High Voltage circuit.
(Refer to Hybrid Control System - "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE ")
- Remove the air cleaner and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the power cable (A) and inverter power cable (B).
- Remove the DC fuse cover (B) after loosening the mounting hexagon head bolts (A).
DC Fuse Cover Mounting Hexagon Head Bolt:
4.9 - 6.9 N.m (0.5 - 0.7 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.0 lb.ft)
- Remove the seal cover (B) using pliers (A).
- Remove the DC fuse (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
DC Fuse Mounting Bolt:
9.3 - 10.4 N.m (0.95 - 1.06 kgf.m, 6.9 - 7.7 lb.ft)
