| Case 1 |
DTC Strategy |
- Coolant temperature reasonable data monitoring (low temperature fixing)
|
- ECTS
|
| Enable Conditions |
- Battery voltage higher than 6V and lower than 16V
- ECT is lower than 76°C (168.8°F) after engine "ON"
|
| Threshold Value |
- ECT target value is more than the reference value during engine "ON" but actual ECT is below the reference value continually
|
| Case 2 |
DTC Strategy |
- Coolant temperature reasonable data monitoring (high temperature fixing)
|
| Enable Conditions |
- ECT is higher than 76°C (168.8°F) after engine "ON"
- Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
- Intake air temperature is higher than -9.8°C (14.36°F) and lower than 70°C (158°F) during engine "ON"
- Ambient air temperature is higher than -9.8°C (14.36°F)
- Part load of engine driving (engine speed higher than 1400RPM, vehicle speed higher than 35.4km/h (22.0mph), air flow more than 5.5g/sec) maintain for 250s to 500s
- Low load of engine driving (idle, vehicle speed lower than 19.3km/h (12.0mph), engine "OFF") maintain for 200s to 400s
|
| Threshold Value |
- Variation of ECT is lower than 2.25°C (36.05°F) after engine "ON"
|
| Case 3 |
DTC Strategy |
|
| Enable Conditions |
- Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
- Over 8hours after engine "OFF"
- ECT is is lowered to over 1°C (33.8°F) within 15s after engine "ON"
|
| Threshold Value |
- Temperature sensors that difference between ECTS and the other temperature sensors (coolant temperature, oil temperature) is over than 20°C (68°F) are at least two
- Difference of the other temperature sensors is less than 20°C (68°F)
