Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect MAPS connector.
  2. Ignition "ON".
  3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (IAT. Sensor) terminal of MAPS harness connector and chassis ground. (A)
  4. Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (IAT. Sensor) terminal and Pin No. 4 (Sensor Ground) terminal of the MAPS. (B)

    Specification:  Approx. 5V

  5. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO
