Repair Procedures: Replacement

Remove the under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Remove the drain plug (A), allow the oil to drain out and then reinstall the drain plug.
Tightening torque :

58.9 ~ 78.5 N.m (6.0 ~ 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 ~ 57.8 lb-ft)

NOTE: The existing oil drain plug gasket must be replaced with a new one. (Do not reuse it.)
Remove the oil filler plug (A).

Fill the manual transaxle with manual transaxle oil through the filler hole.
Recommended :
- SAE 70W, API GL-4
  - Recommended transaxle oil: SK HK MTF 70W, SHELL SPIRAX S6 GHME 70W, GS CALTEX GS MTF HD 70W
Capacity :

1.8 ~ 1.9 L (0.46 ~ 0.50 U.S.gal., 1.90 ~ 2.01 U.S.qt., 1.58 ~ 1.67lmp qt.)

NOTE: Make sure that oil level is at the proper level (A).

Install the oil filler plug (A).
Tightening torque :

58.9 ~ 78.5 N.m (6.0 ~ 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 ~ 57.8 lb-ft)
