DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  1. CAN Communication Circuit Open
  2. Defected TCU
Threshold Value
  • TCU (Gear position, etc) message is not received for more than 500 msec within normal voltage condition
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • ESC (ESP) Warning Indicator Lamp "ON" (ESC[ESP] Only)
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
