Monitor DTC Status
- Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Ignition "ON".
- Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with KDS/GDS.
- Is DTC status displayed as Present?
YES
- Select Cluster system and Check DTCs related with Cluster system. If DTC is exist, repair as necessary and then confirm clear. Afterward, select SCC system and check DTCs.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
