DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Ground in IAT Signal Circuit
  3. Defected IAT Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage higher than 6 V and lower than 16 V
  • 105 sec. after engine start
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Intake air temperature signal voltage higher than 4.93V (266°F/130°C)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
