PCM/TCM Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Connect ATM solenoid valve connector.
  3. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF"
  4. Monitor "Output Speed (PG-B)" parameters in "Current Data  " with KDS/GDS.
  5. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and select Simulation mode.
  6. Input specification frequency to signal of Input speed sensor by simulation mode.

    Specification  : Refer to Table below

    The vehicle parameters can be changed by KDS/GDS simulation value.

  7. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO
