Monitor KDS/GDS Data
- Ignition "OFF"
- Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Shift gear lever to "P", "R", "N", "D" and "Sports".
- Monitor "Shift Lever Switch" and "Current Gear" parameters in "Current Data
" with KDS/GDS.
Specification : Refer to Figure below
- Is displayed parameter within specification?
YES
- If the shift cable is poor alignment, it can cause a malfunction. Therefore check the alignment of the shift cable before replacing the inhibitor switch.
NO
- Go to "SHIFT CABLE INSPECTION " procedure.
