Component Inspection

■ Check FRPS performance 

1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Compare to "Current Data  " and Actual Data about fuel Rail Pressure Sensor with GDS.

1. Engine Idle after Warm Up (Approx. 4000 kPa = Approx. 40bar)
2. At Acceleration (Approx. 12124 kPa = Approx. 121bar)

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the FRPS operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known-good FRPS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace FRPS and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
