Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Refer to REMOVAL and disconnect front wheel speed sensor connector.
- Connect VMI to KDS/GDS and set up the Oscilloscope.(2 Channel):
Channel A (+): Pin No. 1 (Signal) terminal (Front Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Connector)
Channel A (-): Ground
- Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON"
- Testing condition: Engine "ON" & Gear level position "D" & No brake applied.
Specification: High Approx. 1.74V/Low Approx. 0.82V
- Is the measured waveform within specifications?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
