DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Data check
  • Non immobilizer system equipped ECU
  • Faulty HCU
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • HCU Ready "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Non Immobilizer ECU detected (EMS Time-Out times is more than 2.5s)
DTC Erasing
  • Failure to achieve the threshold value
DTC Confirmation
  • 2 driving cycles
