Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Refer to ESC CONTROL MODULE and disconnect HECU connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 13, 38 (Ground) terminal of HECU and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1 Ω

  5. Ignition "OFF"
  6. Refer to ESC CONTROL MODULE and disconnect HECU connector.
  7. Ignition "ON"
  8. Measure the voltage between Pin No. 32 (IG1) terminal of HECU harness connector and chassis ground.(A)
  9. Measure the voltage between Pin No. 32 (IG1) terminal and Pin No. 13, 38 (Ground) terminal of HECU harness connector.(B)

    Specification:  Difference in (A) and (B) is less than 200 mV

  10. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
