Monitor DTC Status

Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Ignition "ON".
  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with GDS/KDS.

Active Fault 
  • Fault History can be caused secondarily due to poor contact of the wire harness and connector at HPCU and auxiliary battery, unstable state by the auxiliary battery deterioration, discharge vehicles jump.

    → Check the wiring harness and connectors and charging the auxiliary battery. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

  • If there is no secondary failure the above factors, exchange the LDC (HPCU) when it work normally after replacing a normal LDC (HPCU). Go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " procedure.
History/Pending Fault 
  • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
  • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
CAUTION: * After replacing the LDC (HPCU), it is necessary to operate the "Vehicle S/W Management"
