DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the temperature sensor voltage
  • Faulty temperature sensor
  • Abnormal temperature sensor circuit
  • Open to temperature sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • Engine "OFF" holding time is more than 480 minutes
  • Coolant shortage diagnostic isn't occurs
  • No MCU CAN communication fault
  • No MCU temperature sensor error data
  • EWP "ON" holding time is more than 10 sec
Threshold Value
  • Heatsink temperature - LDC temperature is higher than 86°F (30°C)

  • 10s

  • 1 driving cycle
