Monitor DTC Status

Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Ignition "ON".
  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with GDS/KDS.

NOTE:
  1. Symptom: No acceleration, rattling or engine braking
  2. MIL: ON (Check the information code number from freeze frame data)
  3. Service Lamp: OFF
  4. E/C Normal Close State (Lock Up: ON): it is temporarily opened at startup and then closed.
  5. Lock Up: Engine clutch ON state (HEV driving state: Engine driving + EV motor driving)
  6. Lock Up: Engine clutch OFF state (EV READY driving state: EV motor driving)

23 Leakage Pressure Clutch -
  1. IG Start: No driving (EV READY, Engine start and drive are not allowed at restarting after IG OFF)
  2. E/C Lock Up: HEV driving (E/C lockup and operating DCT) - Cliff (slip) control is operated at engine idle
  3. E/C Open: EV driving
  4. E/C Slip: EV driving

    * Maintain EV mode when entering E/C Open or Slip (engine torque is transmitted): it is not change to HEV mode

29 Unintended clutch opening Voltage limitation or Reset
30 Unintended clutch closing Voltage limitation or Reset
31 Clutch not operational -
32 Clutch Fail To Close -
28 Unintended Clutch Closing -
  1. E/C Lock Up: HEV driving (E/C lockup and operating DCT) - Cliff (slip) control is operated at engine idle
  2. E/C Slip: HEV driving (E/C lockup and operating DCT) -Cliff (slip) control is operated at engine idle
  3. E/C Open: HEV driving after Lock Up (E/C lockup and operating DCT) - Cliff (slip) control is operated at engine idle
