Monitor KDS/GDS Data

Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Ignition "ON".
  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Monitor parameters in "Current Data" with GDS/KDS.

Good 
  • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
  • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
No Good 
  • If there is a fault related Immobilizer or CAN, After diagnosing Engine ECU and SMK ECU, check and repair this fault first. Then, Check this DTC P1679 is set.
  • If the DTC is erased, check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace Engine ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
