Monitor GDS Data

  1. Ignition "OFF", connect GDS.
  2. Ignition "ON"& Engine "OFF", select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  mode of WCS (Weight Classification System).
  3. Monitor Diagnostic Trouble Code and present of trouble code.
  4. Using a GDS, clear the DTC.

  5. Is DTC present problem?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Intermittent failure, system is OK at this moment. Do Not change WCS (= Weight Classification System).
    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the connector/wiring harness or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and Go to "WCS RESET " procedure.
